Inspired by the design from our school days backpacks, this waxed canvas and leather daypack is a product that will last a lifetime. A sustainable investment that will only improve over time thanks to the Vegetable Tanned Leather and its Waxed 18oZ Canvas. The same fabric that Scottish sailors used in the 15th century to protect themselves from the winds and storms. Organic cotton fabric impregnated with beeswax that gives it unique qualities, among others, waterproofing. The hardware is made of solid brass and its hammered copper rivets, making it practically unbreakable.
Designed both for your day-to-day in the city or in the countryside, with an ergonomic design focused on comfort thanks to the foam back.
The School backpack is quite spacious. It has 3 outer pockets (1 big on the front with a snap closure and 2 on the sides), 1 main storage with a nice YKK Excella polished zipper and inside this main pocket, you can find a Laptop/documents pocket and a zippered pocket for small goods.
This is probably the last Backpack you will need for the rest of your life, because no matter how many years go by, it will just get better with time.
Originally the concept of the waxed canvas was developed at the beginning of XV. Century by English sailors.
The fleets of North Sea Scottish Herring, who operated from the ports on the east coast, began treating the linen cloth with fish oils and animal fats in an attempt to waterproof their sails, keeping them light and efficient. When these sails were broken by use, their pieces were used as layers to resist strong winds and sea mist, keeping sailors warm and dry.
These layers were the pioneer of the famous raincoat fishermen used to wear during their working hours.
Solid Brass is metal based on the alloy of Copper and Zinc. Its applications include various fields, but it has undoubtedly been one of the raw materials par excellence for ships, telescopes, screws, and various instruments for the past centuries. A metal also with soul, through which you will see time pass creating a beautiful patina.
Sick and tired of planned obsolescence, we make our products to last, like in the old times. Products based on the best raw materials, and the best artisan hands. If you receive a defective product or encounter damage beyond normal wear and tear, we offer free repairs and/or replacements.

If one of your Café product(s) needs to be repaired, please start by writing us to let us know at [email protected]. In your email please include your name, order number, and the reason for repair. Final and most important step: attach at least one image of the affected area so that we can determine the best course of treatment. Upon receiving your repair request, we’ll let you know what we can do about it.
If your Café product can not be repaired and it is used for its intended purpose, we will gladly replace the item if still in stock. Otherwise, we can offer store credit or a return for the item during the life of the product.
*Café reserves the right to decide if the product has been used properly or not.

Una vez recibida tu petición, te contestaremos lo antes posible con la posible solución.
Si alguno de tus producto(s) de Café no pudiera ser reparado, estaremos encantados de reemplazarlo por el uno igual siempre que esté en stock. Si no fuera así, ofreceríamos un vale por el valor del artículo o la devolución del importe siempre y cuando esté dentro de la vida útil del producto y se haya tratado de manera adecuada.

For you to receive your order on time before Dec 24th, make sure to place it: in Europe on Dec 21st, US & Canada on Dec 20th. World1 & World2 Dec 19th.
The Free Christmas Express Shipping orders made before 15:00 GMT +1, will be fulfilled the same day. On orders made after 15:00 GMT+1 on the deadline day of your region, delivery cannot be guaranteed before Dec 24th.
We ship worldwide, to every single country, using as principal partners DHL Express Worldwide and UPS Express. Outside the EU, rates are exclusive of taxes, duties, and customs fees. We are not able to determine import taxes, as they depend on several factors including but not limited to the country of shipping destination and product price.
We cannot guarantee delivery time as it depends on how efficient your country’s customs agents are. All international packages are trackable once they are scanned in by the postman.

Please allow us two business days to fulfill and issue you a tracking number (unless you select the “Express Shipping” option(1)). Once you receive your tracking number, you should expect your package within the period described in your selected shipping method. See chart
Please note that while we will issue you a tracking number once we have sent out your package, you may not be able to track your package immediately. You must wait until your package is scanned in by the Postal Service for tracking to activate.
